Mad Warriors treacheryThis is a tale of madness, a tale that we must keep always in our hearts. Our people have endured demons beyond counting, and many treacheries. No treachery, however, will ever rival that of the Mad Warrior. The Mad Warrior was one of those who protect us, one of the chosen nine. She stood apart from the others, a lone figure who sought to bridge the gap between inner and outer circles. A gap she warned would destroy the kingdom if not healed. The distinction between the circles was all too obvious to those who lived in the moons pure light, but they saw it as no great thing. The inner were known as the Gentle Warriors. The boardThe board was large, but not so large that the other side was untouchable. Each player had to stretch a bit, but they could still reach the other side of the board if need be. The board was exceptionally beautiful too, so much so that it took a considerable amount of time for each player to take their turn, as they frequently found themselves content to stare enthralled at the board when they were supposed to be making it move, though perhaps it would be more appropriate to say ‘move more quickly.’ Because a large part of the boards charm was its constant shifting, which the players decided was much more interesting than having itThe board
